VA Aid and Attendance Benefit Program in Abilene, Kansas

VA Aid and Attendance Benefit Program

Village Manor, 705 N. Brady, Abilene, is hosting a program on Wednesday, May 4, at 2:00 p.m. presented by the Patriot Angels regarding the Veterans Aid and Attendance Program.  This program can help eligible wartime veterans and/or their surviving spouses defray the cost of senior care and assisted living accommodations.

The Patriot Angels, who work with accredited attorneys, are providing this complimentary seminar to help seniors understand whether they are eligible to receive the VA Aid and Attendance Benefit.  The seminar will cover eligibility, pension benefits, financial assistance, when and how to apply for benefits, and more.  A question and answer session will follow the presentation.  The program is open to senior care facility residents, their families, friends, medical professionals, anyone working with or in senior care, and the general public.  Refreshments will be served.
